Puig des Molins is the oldest and most important necropolis on Ibiza and the one that has given numerous and diverse materials. It is the cemetery of the ancient Phoenician and Carthaginian city of Ebusus. The Necropolis is located on a hill inside the centre of the current city of Ibiza, not far from the historic centre.

Puig des Molins is a small hill located on the south-west side of the bay of Ibiza. It gets its name from the windmills ("molins" in Catalan) which have stood on the top of the hill since at least the 14th century. This place was chosen by the founders of the city of Ibiza, the Phoenicians, in the middle of the 7th century BC, to bury their dead.
